YuSU students at the World Youth Festival (WYF)
YuSU students Danil Lipatov (Higher School of Ecology) and Veronika Korenistova (Higher School of Digital Economy) took part in the World Youth Festival Assembly, which took place in Nizhny Novgorod. The event brought together 2,000 participants from Russia and 120 countries! They participated in over 80 sessions covering seven key areas. 215 experts from 40 countries gave a speech.

"When I found out I was chosen for the WYF Assembly, I had an idea – print out a world map and ask participants to write "Hello" in their native language, along with various wishes for young people around the world. I collected greetings and wishes from almost every country on the planet! Honestly, I didn't expect such a result, and it's really cool! On the last day of the Assembly, I found a participant from Australia. He was the only representative from that country. It was incredible luck," Danil said.

Danil also shared other interesting meetings. For example, immersive readings with Lorenzo, a pianist and blogger from Italy, and Arseniy Popov, an actor from the show "Improvisation," met with the participants. A new trend battle on the topic of "Who is more important in the modern world—bloggers or journalists" also proved intriguing. The speakers were a journalist from the UK and a blogger from Russia. Participants also set a world record for phygital dancing!

Veronica learned a lot about entrepreneurship thanks to the conference: "My experience at the conference was truly invaluable and transformative. We immersed ourselves in an incredibly rich program, a key element of which were meetings with top experts from around the world—from Abkhazia and the USA to the UK and the UAE. Their stories, cases, and advice allowed us to take a global perspective on business, understanding international trends and the cultural nuances of doing business. Another benefit was the complete immersion in the language environment. Constant live communication in English with lecturers and equally passionate participants from all over the world significantly improved my language skills."

One of the festival's highlights was the International Friendship Clubs. Each region has its own partner countries. For Yugra, these are Senegal and Hungary. Our students had the opportunity to meet with delegations from these countries, learn about their traditions, and find new friends.
