10 universities of the Ural Federal District united into a consortium for the development of technological entrepreneurship of students. In addition to YuSU, the association included UrFU, South Ural (Chelyabinsk), Kurgan, and Tyumen State Universities, as well as universities of the Ural capital: Medical, Pedagogical, Forestry and Agrarian, and Tyumen State Medical University.
The goal of the consortium is to reveal the innovative potential of young people and provide training for specialists in the field of technological entrepreneurship. The participants agreed on this during the summarisation of the results of the "Ural Project Shift" at the Sirius University of Science and Technology. The main task of the project is to achieve the national development goals of the Russian Federation until 2030.
