Chinese Scientists Visited YuSU and the Mukhrino field station

Yugra State University is hosting a delegation from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The delegation includes:       

• Yilong Wang — Professor;
• Zhongwei Liu — graduate student.

The purpose of the visit is to conduct a field survey of representative landscapes of the middle taiga in order to identify suitable locations for scientific equipment.

The programme includes:

• Visiting the laboratories of the Carbon Data Center and Higher Ecological School

• Fieldwork at the Mukhrino field station;

• A scientific discussion on potential joint research projects;

• A field trip to the Nizhnevartovsk District to study middle-taiga landscapes and identify suitable locations for scientific equipment.
